Torquay United v Wealdstone 30/3/19
7 cup finals to go.
Last Saturdays results was a major turning point in our quest to win this league. To win at concord was a monstrous result , but for slough to beat Woking was sublime and it appears the Woking camp is getting unsettled. So we have to start hammering that nail into Wokings title prospects by getting 3 points on Saturday. We can’t control Wokings results, but Bath City away will be hard, ok very hard. Johnson will have them focused on this match.
Like myself and no doubt others, I am thinking that if we can enter the Woking match with a minimum 5 points lead, the pressure will be on Woking big style and that’s where they may crack (if they haven’t already). COYY 3 points Saturday. I’m predicting 3-1 Torquay

Agree with Lucy, last weekend could not have gone better a fantastic win with Woking losing.... Brilliant. We have hit form just at the right time, Helps our game with better pitches now spring is in the air. I am going out on a limb, This could be a great week for the Gulls. We win Sat and Bath do us a favour. We then win Tues home against Chelmsford, We could possibly go into the Woking game on 81 pts with Woking on 73, 8 point lead with a far superior goal difference.
So we could go to Woking on the 6th April needing to win to almost guarantee going up as the Champions. Now would that not be so nice with 1400 of the Yellow army singing there hearts out!!!
I know everyone is going to write saying do not count your chickens, But I really feel its going to happen.. Finally after years of misery! The future finally feels bright the future is Torquay's!
2-0 win Saturday another clean sheet..

Wealdstone have a fantastic away record.
At Home they have 26 points and Away 31 points with 8 wins 7 draws and only 3 defeats.
We will have to be at our best and attempt a fourth clean sheet in a row.
With much better playing conditions I predict 3-0 United and 2,850 gate. COYY.

You can only take one game at a time so Saturdays game is now the biggest match of the season by a long way.
The Woking game isn't that important for now.
Wealdstone have a very good away record but we are a class above most of these teams. Just need to play our football, not do anything stupid and hope that we do not get a stagestruck referee.
No need to panic - if we match Wokings result on Saturday we are in a fantastic position going into Tuesday night.

It could all go the other way pretty quickly if we slipped up and Woking beat Bath, and so GJ won't be looking beyond this weekend for the moment. If nothing else we need to match Wokings result, and keep the pressure on going into next week.
Wealdstone are a good side, and they're fans reckon they'll be our biggest away attendance this season. Their away form is great, but Plainmoor has been a fortress recently (Weston aside). Wealdstone need the points as much as we do, so hopefully if we can keep our noses in front they'll have to play a bit and open themselves up.
I can see them being a bit of a niggly side, who will pull out the dark arts if we let them go ahead, let's hope that doesn't happen!

I think my prediction for a gate of 2,850 for our Home game with Wealdstone tomorrow may be an under estimate.
With good weather and 250 away fans? I suspect we may get 3,250.
Make sure you get to Plainmoor if you possibly can. COYY.

He wasn't saying Woking would lose 3-0 so at the time of your post his prediction was still on and only wrong once Wealdstone scored
