R.I.P Terry Newton

Rugby League & former international rugby league player. He played for Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, Bradford Bulls, Wigan Warriors and Leeds Rhinos. And had 15 caps for great britian. Found hanged at a house today. Very sad news. Thoughts to his family and friends.

They were talking about him on the radio last night on my way home from work. Didn't realise he was the one who was baned for 2 years for taking body building drugs.
Never nice to hear, shame no one picked up on it earlier.

yeah meant to start a thread myself seeing as i watched him play for wakefield trinity wildcats......... :Oops:
terrible news.
i know someone from from the bradford bulls spoke to him the day before he was found.
apparently although he was running a pub,and apparently his wife told him that was it and wanted a divorce.
he even put on facebook that "this is the end"
very sad.
a great player and top bloke who always had time for the fans.
RIP Terry Newton.
