Gulls v Halifax
A game!!!!
At Plainmoor!!!!
Feels like ages since we played a game of football, and I am very much looking forward to finally having a result to listen out for tomorrow.
Can we do the league double over our opponents? Here’s hoping so!!

My first game since three in a week (Woking, Yeovil & Dagenham) at Christmas yet I've only missed one home league game.
Halifax are another proper club and should bring a good following.
Looking at the table -
We're 9 points of the play offs with a game in hand. If we're to make a late run for 7th place this is surely the last chance to start winning. Sadly there's been little to suggest that we'll do this.
Looking down we're 5 points above relegation with a game in hand - or 9 points if only 3 go down - I wish the league would clarify this soon. Win today and we're not safe but not far off it. Lose and we pay well be getting uncomfortable close to possible relegation.

You wouldn't think there is a game on today with the lack of activity on this site!
We won at Halifax earlier in the season but our performances haven't reached those levels since. This is going to be difficult but apparently the players have had a second pre-season during the last 3 weeks. Looking forward to seeing the new striker and im backing him to score on his debut. Going for 1-1 with 2145 inside Plainmoor.

It concerns me that Johnson has decided two thirds through the season to have a mini boot camp to improve fitness levels.
1, If the training regime has been right all season they should not need it.
2. Last time he did this we had players injured all over the place.
3. I am sure matches against Exeter , Plymouth or Bristol under 23's would have done just as well and kept the players competitive
4. Is not the modern wisdom to give the players a few days away albeit if they wanted sun the players would have to pay for it themselves.
I hope I am proved wrong, Halifax are on a good run and packed with experienced pros so I will cross my fingers for three and settle for a point.

Halifax are beatable after all they lost at home in the F A trophy to mighty Halesowen.
With support for Jamie Reid in the shape of Ade Azeez I feel we can win this vital home game but we must get the ball in the 6 yard box.
We must take our chances and not give away silly goals. All obvious I know but true.
United to win 3-1.

We didn't have a game of football even though we played Ebbsfleet at home in last game. Awful performance and very little entertainment.

Armani Little TUFC's version of Andy Carrol.
Its no good being forkin injured fo 50% of the season .
Especially when we're in our position.
Can't afford luxury players at this club, time to rethink his value to the team & at the moment less than useful.

Of course you've failed to realise you answered your own question. We've had so many long term injuries the fitness levels won't be anywhere near what's required.culmstockgull wrote: ↑22 Feb 2020, 10:19 It concerns me that Johnson has decided two thirds through the season to have a mini boot camp to improve fitness levels.

Why can't people stop trying to second guess the best manager we've had in ages. Let him do his job ffs.

Big win and another clean sheet. With the team's below winning
We do not want to get sucked in relegation issues! Even if they are undecided
On how many to down.
Finish the season how we started and who knows where we could end up?
