A very good player , let's hope he has an injury free season. A lot of trips on the bike from Swansea madmike, you will have to get a transfer here as well !

When was the last time we actually paid a fee for a player?

Brilliant news. Final piece of the jigsaw. G.J has, I think, put together a decent squad ( although not sure how the strikers will fare in this league).Hopefully a relative injury free season should see us do very well. And I suppose if we do get another run of injuries we do have the ability to go out and get some loans in as we don’t have any at the moment?

The fee would mainly buying up his contract. He wants to be here permanently and excellent news. Welcome back his dad too 😆

So pleased at this news. CLE and AL will, together, light up this league. Given we have already strengthened the front and rear elements of the spine of the team we will be very competitive this coming season - roll on October!

Yes, good to see CLE back!! Squad taking shape. I make that 2 keepers, 4 Centre backs, 2 full backs, 7 midfielders and 3 forwards all signed up. I expect a couple of loans to come in before the start. Will Liam Davis and Armani Little be fit for October?

Yes a solid midfield on paper anyway. Asa Hall, Jake Andrews, Armani Little, Connor L Evans and Nemane out on the right.

My one concern with what appears to be a strong ‘footballing’ midfield is will we get bullied in there and therefore perhaps we need that combative player. I guess Matt Buse is the one we have that comes near to that?

Matt Buse exceeded my expectations last season. I hope he pushes on and has an even better season. Seven midfield players fighting for 3/4 places so great competition. I guess there is no news yet on when the fixtures come out ? Think the EFL is this week. I see first FA Cup game is the 24th October.
