I just had a quick look and shrewsburys fans forum and some of the fans seem to think if they get on his back they will get him sent off.
Is that what its come to, :red:

Branno wasnt in the league 2 team of the year and our player of the season for nothing :scarf:

The same Shrews fans that wanted someone to give Jake a dead leg or get their studs down his leg? Charming lot.

Who else noticed the Pickler being amusing in the 1st half when he came up for a corner?
probably about 20 mins in
he was having some good banter and ripping shreds off a shrews fan who was giving him some earhole!
funny as,.....

was it shown on sky???

I saw that i was in that corner, they called him a fat b***** and he just played along and wound them back up. It wasnt caught of sky sadly as i re watched the match back.

No it wasnt. Was showing the Shrewsbury player who was down at the time. Showing Branston would of been more interesting to be honest.

What these IDIOTS don't realize is that Branston is a lot older and wiser nowadays. It ain't gonna happen!!

Take a lot more than a bit of winding up to get the better of the Kaiser, super Branstonbauer.

"It's only torquay FFS"

"4,100 is a pathetic crowd"

"They'll only bring 300 on friday"

The list goes on. Head over to the Blue & Amber to see more classic quotes like these. To be fair, a few Shrews fans are giving us (deserved) credit but there are quite a few others coming up with the tripe as shown above.

I would like to take a bet on with him that we will bring far more than 300!

To be fair its their forum and you will always get stuff like this. I think the Shrews fans (on the whole) have been far better than most.

50 games with us, 12 yellow cards, 2 goals, no red cards....... let them sing all their efforts on Branton, fine by us, the less they get behind their own team who are still 2-0 down the better for us Yellow Army getting behind our team and getting through to the final. I would much rather be singing "2-0 to the Torquay Boys" than going on about how fat their defender is....... (apart from when we play Crawley, because Evans does need a fork lift truck to be fair).

I'm starting to wonder whether I actually want promotion because we might as well be in the premiership already with all these MASSIVE clubs in league 2.

Disappointed in Shrewsbury tbh - you'd have thought their trip down to non league not long a go (having been very similar to us in that it seemed a long time coming) would have humbled them a bit, but alas not. It seems a bit of money and a shiny new stadium have gone to their heads.
