Don't believe so
Guessing we're probably playing against a mix of U21 and U18 players? A Reading fan I know mentioned this week to me that due to their current issues they've had to draft a number of their U21 side in to the first team at the moment as otherwise they don't have enough senior players.
Never have got excited about , nor never will do so about pre season friendlies, they are merely a fitness exercise, nothing else, we could win 15-0 today, it means not much at all, last season prior to the start of the campaign, fans giving it the big one about McGavin, Marshall,Crowe, Hanson etc in pre season , and look how the season went.... Reading have serious financial issues right now, their better U21's maybe training with1st team, beating a bunch of kids today I'd say a 5 or 6 nill win was probably par...
Looking at the picture of the game the opposition look about 13 years old

Better than getting lumps kicked out of us by Buckland or Exmouth - at least there is a possibility of scouting.

As in the case of Yeovil defender Morgan Williams, who limped off in their match against Buckland with what appears to be an ankle injury.jono_Gull209 wrote: ↑08 Jul 2023, 21:59 Better than getting lumps kicked out of us by Buckland or Exmouth - at least there is a possibility of scouting.
