Ethon Archer
New signing announced from Three Bridges - seems to be an attacking midfielder.
Good luck with the Gulls Ethon!

Assuming this is for the future, a replacement for Hall etc, someone to develop into a first teamer or sell on. If he does well and/or makes us money then what's not to like. Got to look to the future as we know next season there will not be many players under contract.

If he is half decent he will walk into this side.
Good reviews so good luck to him.

Is he a permanent signing then? Has he played for Fleetwood recently?
Yep. No.

Three Bridges are very local to me, Isthmian 1 side, I saw them against Chatham Town (Isthmian Premier) last week, 2-4 defeat. Two divisions between them and us, firstly how has it come to this?! Secondly, the pace at that level is way off NLS.
Hopefully he can make the step up!

Is this the level of player we attract ? I hope this young man proves to be a star but swooping into the Isthmian league got talent is a sad reflection on the state of the club

Let's not be to critical - Southampton scouted Nico Lawrence from Kent Southern Counties league side Glebe FC and he did not turn out too bad.bobbytanz1963 wrote: ↑07 Nov 2023, 23:54 Is this the level of player we attract ? Yet another likely sub standard player even as a bench warmer.

Oh dear, we sign a player from down the pyramid and he is dismissed as sub standard and bench warmer before even getting on the pitch.
Give him a chance, take away your prejudice against the manager, support the player, and remember he will take time to get up to speed
Yes, he may prove no better that what we have, a bench warmer, however……….
