United host Eastbourne on Saturday in an important game after losing 2 games in which we have failed to find the net.
With Jarvis,Ash, Stobbs all injured and Williams now back at Fleetwood injured we lack firepower but Archer and our latest loaner from Ipswich should start.
With Eastbourne on a bad run I go 3-1 to the Gulls. I’m

Eastbourne were easily the worst side I've seen us play this season but given that they now start under a new manager and a dead cat bounce is possible especially since we are so badly weakened by injuries.

2-1 home win.
Didn't realise Lee Johnson had taken over the reigns at Ipswich or does his Dad have other contacts which his detractors deny....

Ironically as E/B made the transition into full-time football following a couple of successful seasons, a fair few of their squad rejected offers of full-time professional contracts preferring to keep their day jobs and play part-time football elsewhere. Only this week their key playmaker Paxman has left the club to seek part-time football and a career. As we all know there is not an abundance of seasoned professionals willing to commit to full-time in regional football. E/B were dire when we played them at Priory Lane and I cannot see how a new manager is going to turn things around in just a few days. Still chuckle at the Yellow Army chant to their goalie "He made a save - He made a save"

The pitch may play a part in the result. It's not going to dry out hugely in a day and a half. The third of it alongside Bristows may well cut up even during the warm up. Johnsons high intensity style may also not be suited to this surface and lots of players may lose their footing, but no Steven Gerrard moments please.
Hopefully we'll have enough to still win 2-1.
