Torquay United v Dover Sat 20th

So we enter into Saturdays match with the South West certain to miss the worst of the big freeze, our team are coming to the end of a run of 8-10 games that looked between winnable and more comfortable, this was a real chance to pick up a healthy points return, at the very least to cement our place in the upper end of the play-off zone, unfortunately performances dire, results indifferent, leaving out team with work to do now just to secure a play-off spot.
Saturdays opponents are currently sat bottom of the league with a current form record of; (DLLWD) Dover have secured only 2 wins all season, however this game comes with a health warning, it must be pointed out that Dover have drawn 12 games, and most of their 13 defeats have come by just a 1 goal margin, so Dover have shown a degree of resilience despite their lack of points.
From a Torquay point of view not a lot to say really, we all know, no wins in our last 3 league games, no wins in 4 games in all competitions, as said this match coupled with next Tuesday brings a more comfortable run of fixtures to an end.
Play time is well and truly over, shit is going to get serious for us now, as we're about to enter into a run of fixtures, against team almost entirely in the top half of the NLS, this game should won, and simply has to be won.
TUFC 2 V 1 Dover.
