Gary Johnson gone!
Gary Johnson gone!
Life is like TUFC. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory.
Not going to cry over this but you have to ask what is happening behind the scenes. It could be he has just jumped or has he found out what the immediate future is going to hold. I think its the former but...

Succeeded in taking us to our lowest level we have ever been.
Good riddance.
Now time to get behind Aaron and the boys.

We couldn't afford to keep paying his wages so he has done the honourable thing. But, he should have gone weeks ago....
I suspect a few of the players will also leave. Even if we can fulfill our remaining fixtures, relegation will be difficult to avoid. However, i would take relegation if the club can get through this.

You mean the club was actually paying Mr Johnson to oversee the dross signings and performances over the past two years!!
Unbelievable!!
Unbelievable!!
Better not tell you the salary he was rumoured to be on then, you'd be apoplectic !
There are all sorts of rumours flying about - one being that Johnson had no choice in the matter, and there is a potential new owner already.
God knows whether theres any truth in it.

The article on the site about him leaving is interesting - there is not much praise, its a terse "Johnson leaves by mutual consent".
Possibly the article could be interpreted as he has been told to go by somebody.
Saying he has done the honourable things is complete horseshit

Lacks class in not thanking the supporters.

Brucie. On reflection, I agree with you. Honourable is complete horseshit.brucie wrote: ↑22 Feb 2024, 18:49 The article on the site about him leaving is interesting - there is not much praise, its a terse "Johnson leaves by mutual consent".

You'd think with his experience he'd recognise that he's had good times and bad times. There's very few managers who leave on a high but time provides perspective.
He should have said...."thanks to everyone and the supporters but Pete, what did I ever do to you? You've done me up like a kipper here."
You'd think Gary had been caught in bed with his sister in law and brother Pete has had the last laugh

Sorry to hear the news! As a Farnborough fan we understand what you are going through.
I see a lot of “boycotters” (for lack of better phrase) are returning to Plainmoor Saturday to provide the club some much needed gate money. Would the club be able to set up sole “ghost tickets” online so football fans around the country can help support by buying a ticket without attending?
Fingers crossed for a positive outcome. Good luck!!
