Weymouth F C V Torquay United Sat 2 March KO 3pm
This is the Match Thread for Saturdays Away Match at Weymouth.
In view of the wonderful gesture announced by the Weymouth Chairman to donate £5 for every Away Ticket sold to TUST I have decided to make the trip to Weymouth with some of the Torquay Talk boys in the hope we all change our plans and 1,800 turn up to the Bob Lucas Stadium on Saturday to support Aaron Downes and the players.
Last week I urged every fan to get to Plainmoor last Saturday and attract a gate of 4,000. In fact 3,642 turned up which was 91% of the target. Fantastic!
The weather forecast for Saturday is dry and from Teignmouth it is just 69 miles.
Lets all get behind the team and if Weymouth sell the full allocation of 1,800 tickets it will boost the Funds of TUST by £9,000.
What is not to like?
Weymouth 2 The Gulls 3.

I’ve bought a ticket and will hopefully be going now because of the gesture by Weymouth.
I hope we sell 1000+ tickets for the match. Weymouth are on a bad run and I think also have to play tonight.
So 1-3 victory for us as we always concede. Att 2.750.
You may have had a higher percentage for last Saturdays game than you think.
