Torquay United v Taunton Town TUE 12th.

Firstly I hope our club and fanbase have taken a lesson from Weymouth and their grand gesture towards our club, and 'if' a new owner is found and our problems sorted, we as a club can pay the Weymouth gesture forward and help Taunton.
Think it's important for the team this game has come so quickly after Dartford, we know our form has been poor and with a 10 point deduction still hanging over our heads a win here is vital, low confidence isn't fixed with one win, this game offers an opportunity to bag another win and that is what will start to lift confidence in the team.
No Taunton fan reading this should take any offence, we're all aware hear at TQ1 of your thumping away win at Worthing a club who've done the double over us no one is going to take you lightly, but many will fancy TUFC for a win here.
From a TUFC point of view Downes talked about not changing too much too soon, personally been to Aveley, Dartford home and Weymouth away, and there is a subtle change evident , a clear tactic to try and play out from the back, but also gone is the gord darn awful boot and rush numbers forward football of GJ, in all three games we've seen an attempt at one touch quick passing and movement through the middle of the park, and yesterday some of our passing movements were slick and a joy to watch on such a difficult pitch.
For those who don't live down this way, it's hammered it down most of the night, and today has given sun, rain and hail, so here's hoping the groundsman can pull off another miracle here.
