League 2 Prediction Table 2011/2012

Post by Yellow4life »

what with all that's gone on with the club over the past few weeks, it would be interesting to find out what your CURRENT stance is with how we will fair in the new season...

mine is as follows:

‎1. Plymouth Argyle
2. port vale
3. Shrewsbury
-----------------------------------------------------
4. Southend United
5. Rotherham United
6. Crawley Town ( Win Play-Offs )
7. Bristol Rovers
---------------------------------------------------
8. Northampton Town
9.Crewe Alexandra
10. Torquay United
11.Oxford United
12 Swindon Town
13. Dagenham and redbridge
14. Accrington Stanley
15. Bradford City
16. Aldershot Town

18. Morecambe
19. Burton Albion
20. Hereford United
21. Cheltenham Town
22. Macclesfield Town
------------------------------------------------
23. Barnet
24. AFC Wimbledon

once the season draws closer, manager in place with players- we should then predict again and see the difference.

Crawley to win it. Vale, Shrews, Rovers, Oxford, Northampton, Gillingham to be in contention. Burton and Morecambe to be in danger. Us to finish between 11th and 14th.

I think a few of you are overcooking Plymouth's odds to be completely honest. It remains unclear what state they will be in next season and whether they will have to sell more players or rely on the loan system. I think they would do well to pull off a Southend-styled mid-table mediocrity season and then build from there.
Maybe one day, Carayol will find London...

True, that is why I thought it would be interesting to see the state of play now and then again just before the season is due to start.

Yeah, fair enough. Important they get things sorted shortly though otherwise Reid will be in a mess trying to get things sorted in terms of playing staff. I seem to remember Sturrock did have enough time (although not an ideal amount of time) to get his squad sorted. It is crucial otherwise they might end up trying to sign Blair Sturrock!

Impossible to do this in early June, I'll have a go in early August. However I will predict Macclesfield won't finish bottom.
