Tonight's Games (Tues 27 March)..

Accrington v Oxford Utd
Aldershot v Bristol Rovers
Bradford v Crawley
Burton Albion v Gillingham
Shrewsbury v Port Vale

Team positions:
1 Swindon........ p 37, 76 pts
2 Torquay........ p 39, 72 pts;
3 Shrewsbury.... p 38, 71 pts
4 Crawley.........p 37, 68pts
5 Southend...... p 39, 67pts
6 Cheltenham... p 39, 65pts
7 Oxford Utd.... p 38, 62 pts
8 Crewe.......... p 39, 61 pts
9 Gillingham.... p 38, 58 pts

Be great to see Shrewsbury and particularly Crawley drop points this evening! Oxford could consolidate their position in the play-offs, while Gillingham could confirm their challenge as play-off outsiders at the expense of Burton who look to be sinking rapidly. Our only real interest, though, is to see results which work to the Gulls' advantage..! Fingers crossed...

I think there is every chance of Bradford beating Crawley and Vale taking something from the Shrews. If i had to put money on it i would side with a Bradford win rather than a Shrews draw though.

I think I put on another thread that I can see Oxford struggle at Accy, but Creepy, Gills and Shrews all winning.
It just means that our game at Barnet and Southend v Cheltenham on Friday night could make some massive changes to the top of the table.

I want automatic promotion this season, but if we are in the playoffs I want to face Crawley in the finals......

I don't. Don't want to risk a repeat of that FA Cup tie calamity..

Port Vale are massively depleted at the back for tonight, likely having to play a centre forward and a couple of kids back there. It would be heroic if they came out with a point.

I think our best hope is Bradford tonight.

According to the FL Paper, Bradford haven't been beaten at home since November and Crawley have only won 6 times on the road so i feel that is our best bet. I think Shrews will finish in second so its just a case of keeping ahead of Crawley really and if they were to lose tonight and we beat Barnet then we could be 7 points in front with them still having two games in hand but then its in our hands. Crawley may draw or even lose on saturday meaning we will be in a strong position. Its all ifs and buts but Shrews will beat Vale tonight that is a given and their home form is the best in league 2. They aren't going away.

Given that we want results to help us. I want the following.

Accrington 2 - 1 Oxford United
Aldershot 1 - 2 Bristol Rovers ( I think they play a team or two who are around us later on so they need to improve and I dearly need to see them repeat a victory over Swidnod)
Bradford 2 - 0 Creepy
Burton 1 - 0 Gillingham
Shrewsbury 1 - 2 Burton

That would be the ideal. But then it's dreaming.
I suspect it will look more like this

Accrington 1 - 3 Oxford
Aldershot 1 - 1 Bristol Rovers
Bradford 1 - 1 Creepy
Burton 0 - 2 Gills
Shrews 2 - 1 Port Vale
