Despite the past and given our current situation with Martin Ling, if Buckle has left for "genuine personal circumstances" then I hope everything is okay with him and his family.
Despite the way he left he still achieved more with us than most in recent history. And I will always be grateful to him for leading us back to the Football League.

You'll probably all hate me for saying this, but right now, I'd have him back in a flash.

His style of football is EXACTLY what we've been asking for. If we had a mix of Buckle's attacking football and Ling's personality we'd have a beast of a manager.

Oh okay, if that's the case surely he could have waited 'till seasons end before following her?

Mind you, there aren't many places I wouldn't follow Rebecca Lowe to... ;-)

I can't see him quitting Luton to come back Torquay. For Luton to respect the reason, I don't see him returning to management some time soon. I respected the guy when he was with us, until the days following the 2nd leg victory against Shrewbury, T@@T.

I get the impression that he walked before he was pushed.

Can't see the board even entertaining the idea of him returning, given the circumstances in which he departed.
