Let me introduce myself..i am the result of a sexual liasion between my dad and a pork pie  My dad is really a very nice man, totally misunderstood, honest and charming.Ok thats it with the crap, crawley fan here..one of the few who came down for the 2009 game at your place, very enjoyable game from our point of view.
Really looking forward to the cup game as we are on a great run at the moment and playing with confidence. Our views on Evans you ask..totally obnoxous human being but he is doing a job for us at present.Just hope we reach the promised land and wave goodbye to fatty for ever and move on.
All the best for the rest of the season (apart from cup game !).
My prediction..very narrow 2-1 for the reds with Evans to explode at full time showering devon with doughnuts and pies :)

Glad to see a genuine Crawley fan here. Good luck with all things Evans, I have a feeling you'll need it after he sails off into the sunset.
Hope you keep that sense of humour too, enjoy your visit to Devon, that is until the game starts ;-)

Better get this one back on topic before P.D. Vile logs on and chips in with 9. :red:

In reality the tie could go either way and form, performance, taking of chances, luck etc will determine who goes through.

We're hoping it's us, they're hoping it's them.

Another Crawley fan coming in peace.

Hey guys really looking forward to this match, loving the pre-game rivalry also. Its always great to see a bit of banter (despite some of the obnoxious posts from both sides).

Just a query, probably looking to stay down on the 29th, is there anywhere with a 1* rating or lower that could get us through the night. Preferably somewhere loud and lively.

Cheers guys best of luck for the match.

My predicition 1-1 draw and 2-1 Crawley replay. Can imagine this will be as tight (if not tighter) than the Derby match. This is the first FA Cup game we have gone into with some (not all) of the fans expecting us to acheive in.

I have some mates who live on the Braodfield estate, and to p!ss them off I call your town Creepy Crawley, so it's nice to see someone with that as their username. I have spent many a younger time going to the Holy Trinnity school for the parties and then walk back to Broadfield estate getting shot at by air rifles etc. Lovely place.

I am all up for the banter and all though you have been a troublesome team for us to beat in the past, I think you guys have over expectations of the result. Yes it was awesome you beat Derby, but you need to remember they had a penalty saved early on, and the winner took a deflection (and the weather was horrific). I am not belittleing your club or achievements but I think this will be a hard battle for both teams, but we will come out winning quite comfortably. I think it will be 1-0 to us at half time, and as you guys push for a goal towards the middle of the 2nd half, we will come back and put 2 more past you.

Either way I do know a few Crawley fans, and was good to visit you in the conference league (apart from the 3-1 slapping) and wish you all the best for the promotional push. However enjoy your cup final ont he 29th and we'll look forward to Arsenal v Torquay in the 5th round.

Lots of Love

Ah my old secondary school. Small world!

Are there any hostels or awful hotels in Torquay which might be a bit of a bargain? Even if someone can rent out their shed to me id pay £10 for the night. Any offers? :-D

Travelodge is your best best bet, but they are likely to be all booked up. There are too many hotels in Torquay, i'm sure you'll find something on budget.

I am very good friends with Geoff Bargery (You may have known him as Mr Bargery the CDT Teacher? I went to Highbury a few times when he was a proffessional linesman. Also I know the caretaker Bob Elkinton and his family. Depending on how old you are I might even know some of the people you went to school with.... Sharon and Kevin Clark?
