Colin Bettany! Known as 'The Iron Man' or 'The Beast'. Hardest TUFC player ever.

I know he's not like and that, but surely Bayo warrants a place?

Players bounced off him!

Cyril Knowles' teams didn't take any prisoners-they could dish it out but also take it as well;especially John Impey.
Going further back Mitchenson was a really tough tackler;also Mal Lucas and Jimmy Dunne.
In more recent times Branston certainly intimidated the opposition, but we haven't really got a "hard-man"as such at present.

Wivelgull is right. There is only one contender - Colin Bettany. This man was made of concrete. Branston, Kitchener do not come anywhere near. Ask anyone who has supported Torquay since 1964, ask them this question, they will all say Colin Bettany despite seeing many 'hard men' since then. Absolutely no contest, the man was awesome.
