Not really answering the post...but just had to include this video of the great Rodney Jack. Whenever he got the ball in the opponents half Plainmoor would roar, a sound I just have not heard since, no other player has mnaged to get the respect of Plainmoor like he did..........this player was awesome and in terms of number of class goals must lead the field in recent years

I remember away at Oldham, I think, when Jack was there, but injured for the game against us, he came in to the bar before the game and got a huge, huge round of applause. We won that game two nil as well, great day out, we stood and sang for 90 minutes.MidDevon wrote:Not really answering the post...but just had to include this video of the great Rodney Jack. Kevin Hill over head kick v Maccy
Lee Thorpe overhead kick v Stockport
Jason Fowler team move away at Maccy (we played like Brazil for 10 minutes, 3-0 up, then played lik England for 80, and were lucky to get 3-3)
Rodney Jack away at Watford
Gary Nelson long range finish home to Brighton, great composure with Keeper out of goal.

That was like watching Brazil.
Roberts and Jack were awsome.
Happy days.
