Are you going Accrington
So who is going to possibly the worst place on Earth, other than away end at St SIDS park. Full respect to those that are and equally those who aren't

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

This is what I like!, a man with enough balls to leave his wife in Liverpool One with a credit card!Bobbytanz wrote:Am in Liverpool for the weekend so think rather than shopping with my other 'arf it will be trip to Polar Accrington !!!
I'll be there with my son and my two Preston NE supporting nephews. No coincidence that our visit to the in laws in the north west coincides with this fixture, although not sure the wife's worked it out yet. Bumper crowd for accie with four of us going.

No Chance. Not if I can help it. I would rather sit in a bath of Chicken S**t dressed in rusty barbed wire mesh, and pull my toenails out with a pair of pliers while listening to a mixture of the spice girls and Demis Rousos and Nana Maskouri. (not sure how you spell his name). and eating a bowl of liqourish fish with cold cabbage and custard. in a derelict whorehouse. And Austrian Andy is doing the can can naked in front of me. Nope def not for me.

That's a 'No' then Glos is it? In a way, I wish I had been to Accrington cos I just filled in a survey about attending away games for The Changing Room website & I had to name the worst one I'd been to;had to nominate Ex City for the worst Away End but I should imagine that Akkie would win really! Hope all you going enjoy the match & the result, if not the surroundings!

I know this is the last thing on our minds right now but if you can get then please go and get behind the lads for this. I don't feel they particularly deserve our support in the main but Torquay will still be here when they've all left and if we can get anything extra out of them by supporting then it might help us in the long run. There will not be a worse ground to go to this season in general and certainly not a more difficult ground to try and make any atmosphere especially with about 80 of us but it can be done and we shall try. We need a point at Accy at least because if Alan goes into the Gargs game off the back of another horror show the players will be petrified of making an errors against Plymouth and it could get stupid.
I know it's a total dump and it will be cold, grey and depressing but please, please as many go as possible and shout your support. Even if it's not singing, if that is not your thing then a simple COME ON DOWNESY or COME ON ANYONE when they are in earshot is encouragement and they will hear that. Just keep cajoling and encouraging like Tony McCoy does to a disinterested racehorse and we might get that extra 10% that means we get a point or even 3. Forget Knill, he's a loser, he's gone. If we get anything at Accy it will be down to the players and they are the only ones we can effect on the day and so we must try. That racehorse that McCoy rides might not be the best but due to the constant support and encouragement he gets them to win. I want us to be Tony McCoy on Saturday and the players are all horses (but not Mozika otherwise he'll get eaten by Princess Anne eh Dave! :na: ). We can make the horses run faster and focus more and the rest is up to them.
This is not really a rallying call because I've had enough of them to last a lifetime but just do what we can as fans for the benefit if us. If our support gets something extra out of player who initially couldn't be arsed to put in any effort then it is only good for us. If they put in the effort most weeks as some do then the support will also have respect attached to it that the players will have earned.
Get down to Accy and let's all have some pears!!

I actually want to go to this one - it's one of those games you feel you have to be at.
We'll lose - I haven't forgotten the relegation 6 pointer there in 2007 where Manse saw red and they scored in the final seconds to win 1-0 - I think around 700 Gulls there that day. It'll be nothing like that this time, but y'know.
Probably won't be able to get there to be honest though
