I'm about half a mile to the ground

Started off as a nice morning here, before a hail and thunder storm, been back to blue skies but more heavy showers are on the way today,

To help those who maybe travelling a long distance for tomorrow, post any knowledge of pitch inspections etc

It looks from this as if the game is on, but it's not yet definitely confirmed: http://www.torquayunited.com/news/artic ... 22522.aspx

Its now lashing down and as black as night. I'm at work in Paignton. Not looking good for the Plainmoor pitch, tomorrow. :(

A bit off wind and rain is no excuse for not turning up, Knill gone, so even I have to turn up.

What dodgy pitch inspection was it last season ?

Ah yes, it was when Pokey was injured and then we played Barnet on a different day and turned them over.

By 'ook and by crook as they say.

Of course, Torquay stayed up by the result of enough points come the final reckoning. :rules:

It would be better to have an inspection on the pitch itself, rather than on Facebook.. :~D

Didn't sound too confident on the recorded message when I rang the ground. Quite suprised as a dry day forecast in Torquay.
