MOTM - Nuneaton

Post by Gulliball »

Sounds like there were quite a few contenders today. Up to five players, in order, please.

August Player of the Month to be revealed later tonight.

although i can only listen on radio. I cannot imagine why you didnt name Ajala. With O' achie Downes and Tongue constantly being mentioned in dispatches by commo. Shame Cammo had to go off. hope its only a niggle. Chapell didnt have a full match really to get Mom but in all honesty. why not give the whole team MOM after all. Malta had the George Cross. they didnt name any one person.

Ajala did play well, but didn't see him helping cruise or tonge. Chappel did do this. I did say it's difficult to choose.

Very happy with the performance, wasn't really sure who to pick as everyone played well. The midfield were excellent and both fullbacks had a good game too. Looking forward to the next game now COYY

The most difficult choice for many a year as I thought all of them were excellent and well done Tom Cruise on a much improved performance. Cameron was also flying before he had to go off and I think it would have been even more with him on the field for the full ninety.

Young - he was everywhere today and a part of everything that was good plus two goals
Richards - Energy, commitment, ability - him and Young are an excellent pairing in the middle
Duane-O - never stops going, raw but a nightmare for centre backs
Ajala - pacy, committed and key passes in the 2nd and 4th goals (even if the last was a mis hit)
Cameron - wasn't on long but absolutely destroyed their right back

What a performance today the lads never stopped going, great to smiles back at plainmoor on and off the pitch. Nuneaton were shite but we were bang up for this. 4 points from the next two would be bloody lovely.
