Please resign Chris

Post by Forest gull »

Please resign now Chris. You were a hero to us fans, leave now before the inevitable sacking. Leave us with a modicum of pride. Time for TUFC to restart their existence.

Sad sad day. Again.....

So sad after his famous "that's for you" statement at Wembley.

But the question has to be asked what exactly goes in training, just one look at some of our weighty players tells you not a lot of hard work.

An open letter to Chris Hargreves, many thanks for all your endevors for Torquay United as a player but the time has come to go see on Monday morning whoever you report to and hand in your resignation. We can not wait for you to get upto speed as a manager and while you are trying to learn our club is flying into the mountain and disaster,I understand you would like to be a football manager and you might well succeed but if you did no doubt you would be off to the first second or first division side that showed an interest, there is no loyalty in professional football so why should Torquay wait for you while you are taking us to places we don't want to go.I would like to be an airline pilot, should I go to British Airways and get a job, do you think they would say ok Frenchgull, take that 747 to New York and best of luck,I don't think so, but that's exactly what The board have done with you, you have taken control of my club without any managerial expierence and have floundered, the least thing you should have done was to ask for help from someone who has done the job before,I can only put that down to arrogance. The board must take equal responsibility because to give a person the job without any expierence is reckless, would you employ somebody who turned up at Plainmoor when the floodlights went out and said he could mend them just because he has electricity at home and thinks he know how to do the job!.Please just go,you have destroyed my support for the club I have followed for 60 years.

Sadly, Frenchgull, I can't help but agree with you. 51 years for me, and today is the lowest point. I fear that we will go down and into oblivion unless something radical is done in the next few days. I have supported Hargreaves all the way. I was wrong.

From the very first game away at Gateshead CH got things very wrong. He has not been helped by the board or players but no-one can surely stick up for him after todays team selection and performance. Im not surprised we couldn't perform today, some of the players were out on the lash at darts on Thursday night, great preparation fellas.

The thing is should anyone really be surprised we lost today. Telford have won five games all season and have beaten us twice.
I am not sure what is actually the problem but there is something massively wrong within the club. If you look at my player ratings for last week the only to players to score any points at all were Ajala and Richards, both were dropped today.
Our worst two players last week were Bowman and Campbell - no clues for guessing which two players started up front!
In fact HArgreaves blind faith in Bowman week in week out seems ridiculous. Is Campbell a better prospect than Ofori? HAlf our players seem overweight and unfit - yet we get reports of players supping pints watching the bloody darts - it is an unmitigated disaster, clearly we are at the lowest ebb in our proud history. Hargreaves simply has to go.

He will never resign as he's too full of himself, he will go eventually but that day will be May 2016 once his contract is finalised as we don't have the funds to pay him up. And after you have failed miserably as a manager at Torquay where do you then go. I bet he wishes he would of stayed at Bournmouth as u21 manager but we all know that he craves the limelight.

:goodpost:

He's also managing to destroy any chance of a career Ives has. The kid looks scared stiff in possession.
TUFC never fails to let its fanbase down.

27/08/18 - Time to step back from this shambles and focus on things in life that make me happy. TUFC doesn't.

Could somebody, who know how to, create a CH In or OUT poll please.

The club can't sack CH he has to resign, so we are stuck with him.

This season is just become embarrassing, it's not fully the fault of Chris Hargreaves, but we're massively under achieving, no one can doubt that in my view, and fans are beginning to vote with their feet. Chris you've done your best, but you if you love this club as you claim, time to go.

Dave me and you have had some great chats and I respect your opinion 100% but we both know he has under achieved and if we had the funds he would be out on his arse.
