Yes - a tough baptism for Paul Cox but on the other hand, best to get tough fixtures out of the way early. But then, historically we have always done better against better clubs so it wouldn't surprise me if we picked up more points in August than in September when we play Guisley, Boreham Wood and Bromley. Must make diary note for when we play home to Braintree ...... ah, yes - January 9th.
Looking quickly down the list, it looks as if the fixtures are better spaced out this time. Last season we were playing against same sides in successive months which seemed odd. First match August 8th ..... not long to wait.
Amazing tough August fixtures we need to gel early.
Even more exciting!!!

Noted down the away games I'm likely to get to Borehamwood and Guisely are the latest additions.
After August fixtures seem to follow more of an H-H-A-A-H-H-A-A pattern which could be good, could be bad, better scheduling than last season though.

The one I wanted to watch is on a Monday, so that's stuffed that one for me.

You'd like Aldershot, always a good atmosphere mate or you could save a days holiday and do the Monday game
