I think their biggest fear should be that their investor (who is an Oxford fan) has just bought 10% of Oxford. This is the most he is allowed to hold whilst still investing in Eastleigh. If he gets a taste for things there, or thinks 10% isn't enough for a promotion push or to save them from relegation, then he would have to stop investing in Eastleigh to get more involved at Oxford. Looking from the outside, him getting involved with the side he supports makes a lot of sense if he wants to spend his money on football - what role do Eastleigh play in his plans then?
