Next topic of conversation is who on earth will be next in charge??

Can they afford a manager, will it be a player manager, who would want the job?!

Mod edit: Changed title (Y4L)

Neil Aspin would be my ideal candidate.

I hope the board and fans have learnt now from past managers that its going to be someone who will be based in Devon, cant have managers leaving to go back up north as we have found out the hard way what happens... ling... cox.

Someone who will thrive on a challenge like this and be happy to relocate with his family to the south west because it wont be easy.

No doubt the likes of Tully/Nicholson ect ect will all be mentioned but please dear god NO... we need experience and someone ready for the challenge.

Not even going to speculate, the forum was full of posters telling us last time saying it wouldn't be anyone, who was any good, when suggestions broke it would be Paul Cox, a fair few laughed.

Mrs Slocombe and Miss Brahms are a far superior option than you Mr Humphries.

I'd rather have somebody that is alive to be honest with you :)

That could be a problem, will the club finances stretch to someone who's still living. :)

presumably dean edwards salary has been freed up so that must be a help towards paying a new manager, be nice if colin lee would come in to help for the foreseeable.

Colin Lee is heavily involved with the Chelsea foundation academy and education programme running in this area, there is talk of expanding from just sports diploma for college students who also get to play U19 football, to having regular U8-16 teams as well, can't see him wanted to give that up for TUFC.

I wish people would have a little foresite here with the next appointment, my view is this, managers in their mid 40s - 50s who may have 300-400 hundred appearances to their name will inevitably coach in a similar way to coaches that coached them previously 20 years before that, football has moved on, i wish we would implement a philosophy here based on the type of football that attracts fans, i am not naive enough to think that we will be capable of playing the Barcelona way, but Swindon do it on a shoe string budget, Bournemouth do it and have done for years, dare i say Exeter do it....I know when i part with 20 quid, i would like to be entertained
