Basingstoke FC V Torquay United - Match day thread
Evening all,
I'm looking at going to Basingstoke at the weekend with a couple of mates but there hasn't been any information posted on the website. Anyone know any details of away pricing and what stand we will be housed in?
I will be getting the train so any info on pubs we will be visiting will be handy! I expect us to take around 450-500, hope to see you all there!

In all the games ive been to the Camrose, sorry Soccer AM stadium, there hasn't been segregation.
Go on all of you come to Beautiful Basingstoke, oh yes it is!!!
You could come early and treat yourself to a sky dive at Airkix, or a skate on the indoor ice rink, all within easy distance of the ground. Enjoy a lovely pint in the Basingstoke Town clubhouse. Walk across the road for a Macdonalds. Or maybe pop into town and do some xmas shopping in Festival place, and experience a true shopping experience. And if you like roundabouts, we have lots of those too! Plus wonderful Hampshire villages and hospitality. And an almost certain win. And all that just 2.5 hours down the A303, go on treat yourselves. By the way I wont be experiencing any of that because I have to be in Torquay, jeeez im still pissed off about that!!!

Well said Neal! Unbelievably I'm also in Torquay this weekend and can't change my plans. I go to a fair few games at the Camrose so gutted to miss this one. I can't imagine there will be any segregation as fans wander from one end to the other in the old fashioned way. A warm welcome awaits in the clubhouse. Can't explain what's happened to Stoke from last year's near miss in the play offs. Think we will edge them out but it could be closer than their current league position suggests.

All pay on gate and standard admission prices will apply (Adults £12, Concessions* £8, U16s £2).
Don't ask the price of a train ticket!! Bring back the good old days of British Rail..

Gullscorer....We managed to get train tickets for £35 return
Wivel............If we are going to have 600 there there will surely be more than 759 ?

600? I don't think so. 400 maybe.

Thanks for the replies guys! It's a shame we won't have a specific end allocated to ourselves so we can bunch together and make loads of noise.
Around 48 quid for a standard off-peak day return ticket.

Really looking forward to my first away game this season, think we will match or even beat the amount of home fans in the ground which will be terrific!
