Torquay V Chester - Now Tue 5th April

This Saturday is the most obvious must win game, we have 17 games left and will certainly have to win at least 9, if not 10 of our remaining games. Apart from Luke Young I believe Nicho has a fully fit and available squad to pick from, and some real selection dilemma's, Iffy Allen had a fantastic Tuesday and is a must start, I would certainly put Racchi in as well, added experience, unlike Richards, Racchi looks like he can pass long if needed, think we will see Butler/Ajala combination on the left hand side also, no excuse now, we have a squad and options.

Chester Current form

W-L-L-L-D-D

8 Mar Chester 8 - 2 Aldershot To.
12 Mar Eastleigh 1 - 0 Chester
19 Mar Wrexham 3 - 0 Chester
26 Mar Chester 1 - 2 Barrow
28 Mar Guiseley 3 - 3 Chester
2 Aprl Chester 2 v 2 Boreham Wood

Torquay United current form

D-D-W-L-L-W

12 Mar Aldershot To. 0 - 0 Torquay Utd
15 Mar Torquay Utd 0 - 0 Halifax Town
19 Mar Torquay Utd 1 - 0 Southport
26 Mar Dover Athlet. 5 - 0 Torquay Utd
28 Mar Torquay Utd 0 - 1 Eastleigh
2 Apl Gateshead 1- 2 Torquay Utd

That was an absolute cracking result today and given great chance Tuesday to move out of the bottom 4. Please, please Nicho can we start with a more attacking set up, the same attacking set up you've switched to in the second half v Gateshead and paid off for you, the team and the fans.

Fair play for writing this preview on the same day as your fathers funeral.

Let's hope for three points on Saturday.

The club is at the lowest league position since the 1920s and consequently statistically Nico is the worst manager we have ever had. Yet, I still think Nico is a great guy when you meet him and for the team the only way is up!
Chester have not won a league game since they beat us 4-1 on the 19th Dec so we won't find a better time to play them. Anything else but a win would be traumatic.

Sincere condolences, Forever. Losing a close family member is a sad time and no doubt today will have been difficult for you all. Remember - your dad will always live on in your memories of him. Back to football - thank you for continuing your excellent match threads when your mind must have been on other things.

Unable to attend this one, can't see us winning despite Chester's form.

Hopefully it will be game on and the start of a possible great escape!

Think there will be a bit of rotation with another FA trophy game again midweek!

A point? How recklessly optimistic of you, Wivel.

Shame the game's off, tho. We're bound to lose the rescheduled one =D

Yes, another Saturday unbeaten and the first Saturday as the strongest team in the division unless Kidderminster lose by at least 9 - see the write up on them in the Times today.

Assuming that the pitch/drainage is going to have to be seriously improved before next season kicks off? Having Truro playing on it as well, can you imagine the backlog of games for both teams!

At the moment you'd be better off changing your 'name' to Boggy!
