MacDonald. A real giant for us today.
Berry. Total commitment throughout.
Smith. Had a right royal battle with Phenix from the very first minute and won!
Butler. Won us the game when he put the ball in the 6 yard box for Bliss to score.
Moore. Looks a very good keeper.

I'm with Portugal - it's the back five for me, but slightly different order.
Angus Macdonald - a superb performance
Dan Butler - always made himself available
Nathan Smith - yet another battling display against a difficult opponent
Durrell Berry - solid and hard-working
Brendan Moore - would have been higher up my list if he'd had more to do ! What he did do was impeccable - confident and clean handling all match and a couple of good saves.
The only other one who came close to the top five for me was Danny Racci

McDonald - imperious display, shame about the booking although, in fairness, I thought it harsh
Smith - quietly went about his business, always in the right place when it mattered
Moore - distribution not so good today but its the way he dominates his area that gives confidence
Butler - for the cross which made the goal
Blissett - the goal was so crucial it more than made up for the poor quality of the rest of his game
Referee was, I thought, good and so was the popside crowd.

Angus Mac - he was a brick wall, and almost KO'd himself taking one for the team!
Butler- always looking to get forward and make something happen, which he did with a perfect cross into the 6yrd box
Moore- not too much to do but when called upon he did what was needed, gives me huge confidence.
Smith- kept Phoenix in his pocket all game, as always a solid performance.
Berry- again solid in defence and always looking to get forward and links up well with the front men, he could potentially get motm a lot more if the likes of ajala could improve and link up better!
