Guiseley v Torquay United 19/08
well, after another disappointing result, its Guiseley.
Bixieupnorth, myself with several other exiles from Yorkshire and uninteresting places in the North ie. Lancashire - will make our way there and will be hoping for a victory here which we have failed to do in the two visits in the National League.
they are as bad as us....at least we can score.
A must win game already.

I see Reece Thompson is now at Guiseley having signed from North Ferriby and looking at their squad, it looks on paper to be some way better than that of the Gulls IMO. The Lions will stay up this season and won't be anyone's whipping boys. Any team that goes there thinking this is liable to come unstuck.

Also, as has been pointed out to you on several fuc***g occasions, this is a forum. F.O.R.U.M. It's not a blog.
I suggest you google the difference if you find it so difficult to understand.

Sorry Ray. We do match threads here, not prediction pages.Ray Johnstone wrote: ↑15 Aug 2017, 22:10 Excuse me. I make the prediction pages on this blog.

First game of the season for us, although wondering if it is wise. Been last 2 years and the performances were poor, last year really poor in terms of play and attitude, it did set our stall out for the majority of the season.
Guiseley were lucky to stay up on the last day when we played them, but they won and got the break so fair enough. Last year they out played us, their player Preston on the left side was having fun with us, but still I thought their days were numbered in the league, again they did enough but pushed their luck. Thing is so have we and I think the luck may have finally run out for us.
I really hope the recent results are the rocket all involved need. What I have read suggests a few are giving what they can, and you can never ask more than that, but the pre-season contentment most showed for the players we signed has all but gone now (already).
Guiseley (2) 3
TUFC (0) 1
(at least last year we were getting beat by 1 goal as a rule....)

Another loss 2-0 and hopefully the club will make the decision to sack the manager and his assistant and get someone in who can sort this mess out.

Let's hope we don't get played off the park in this one...
